wear something green !

Paradiso, Amsterdam on the 30th of March.

Why? Because Green will be performing at the first official Scritti Politti gig at Paradiso, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, after abandoning the stage for over 26 years!

My idea: everyone who is going to come to the gig should wear something green! Already many fans around the globe who are coming told me they will do that. It will be fun!

about the photo: original can be found here, I tweaked it (CC license)

Update: The gig was just great!

Hey Marco, this announcement will go arround the world, you had this great idea, you are the man !!!
This is maybe an spectacular fact, never happened in music history I think. If that works, it is worth to come in the history books.

Hi Marco,

I am not emailing you to let you down or anything, but the show in Amsterdam is basically the same member and same lineup as the gig at the Luminaire. The band will be Double G and the Traitorous 3 (plus 2), not Scritti Politti.

I heard this from Green, so thought I should let you know.

Have fun at the Paradiso! I wish I could be there.

Cheers,

Thanks. They are playing under the Scritti moniker, right? Green = Scritti.

I love this band, Double G and the Traitorous 3 (plus 2). The gig in the Luminaire was amazing!

And the story behind Double G and the Traitorous 3 (plus 2) is so interesting. People Green met at his local pub. I am a guitarplayer livin’ in the wrong place I guess…

… I am also a sound mangler… Green are you reading this?
