The Multiband Dynamics device in Live is a great tool for de-essing a signal. So I made a super simple to use De-esser in Ableton Live 10 and which can be downloaded for free (please consider a donation afterwards):
De-esser for Live 10 (4.6 KiB, 3,909 hits)
As an example, here’s a fragment of the podcast Water & Music by music journalist Cherie Hu:
And here’s how it sounds when using my De-esser:

Hello, can you write a few words about how to get this to work? The unzipped file has no file extension and I’m unsure how to get the preset to run.
I think the file was zipped without the extension. I created a new upload. It should unzip in a .adg file which can be opened in Live as Rack Effect. (you can also open Live and drag the file into it, this will create the Effect Rack for you).
Please try again and let me know if it’s working for you.

Hey I have a very noob question, will I be able to open this in my Ableton Live Lite? 😅
Unfortunately I think the Multiband Dynamics device is not included in the Lite version of Live.
